Our review and rating: A very pale yellow, this wine has aromas of yellow delicious apples, honeydew melon, and a touch of vanilla which are carried forward onto the palate. Full-bodied, the sweetness of the fruit flavors diminishes somewhat into the finish which is brief but otherwise without much character. Our score: It's probably not surprising how much a label influences our opinion of a wine. Yet this generic white wine from Michigan is surprisingly good, though admittedly overly sweet. Probably not generally available outside the Midwest, it's a good choice for a cheese and cracker platter, or even with (dare we say it) popcorn while watching a DVD at home. Average for what it is, maybe a touch better.
