Our review: Pale lemon yellow in color, this wine has a very pleasing bouquet of tropical fruit, some citrus, maybe lemongrass with herbal notes. Smooth on the palate, the fruit flavors are quite well balanced and harmonious. There's also a bit of grassiness here. A touch of heat develops into the finish, which is slightly bitter, though not unpleasant.

Our rating: This is a surprisingly rich wine, full of complexity and depth. Not best alone, it needs food to bring out its range of flavors and round off some of the edges, especially towards the finish. We served our bottle with a roasted chicken dish, with which it paired very nicely. We think most any white meat would be suitable; we're less sure how well it would work with seafood, though. We rate it Above Average, nearly Excellent.
